Though I prefer to work with the economic and environmental details of individual enterprises in my reporting/system design work, I also like to keep an eye on the big economic/environmental picture. In his book The Upside of Down, Thomas Homer-Dixon identifies four or five techtonic stressors that are pressing on our economy and environment. Because of my interest in the intersection of economics, energy, education, and the environment, I regularly visit sites that deal with some of these issues. Primary among these are sites dealing with energy and money. |
